The black Goat

It's not my fault I'm a goat
Who bleats through the throat
It's not my fault I'm black
So they expect me to always reside in the dark
When I appear in the light
They say I'm in for a fight
The fact is I'm not fake
I don't drink from the cup of hypocrisy
Im comfortable eating the manger's delicacy

I know I'm black
Yet I'm not cloth in rag
Hmm! I see many white sheep
I laugh in disguise
Because  they live in pretence
I'm an angel in demonic attire
My environment caused it
Don't give me the blame
Accept me as I am

I am a black Goat
Found among white painted sheep
Even when I come in peace
They try to break me in pieces
I thought you will accept me
Nurture me with your method of assimilation
But nil on the score board

I am a black Goat
But I don't chew black cedi
I look like  a hawk
But I don't harvest chicks
I grew with the feature
Depending on the future
Why will my approach
Be a reproach
To scare the chicks
Even when I want to feather them
I am innocent
Not in to torment
I stand for peace
