Ashes to Ashes
Dust to dust
From the earth you came
to the earth you shall go

But before you go
Go to the place
The living cannot go
We have somethings to say

If the dead can smell
Smell us too
Sweet scented flowers
We've come to pay our tribute too

If the dead can hear
Then we know you've  heard us
The sounds of the 21 gun salute.
We say you're a legend

If the dead can hear
Hear us
We the marching boots of soldiers
Walking you to rest

Son of the mountain lion
Son of the flourishing tree
You stood as a good tree
Amongst the fruitless acquittances

From the prison of life
You walked amongst us
Some few minutes ago

You become the icon of humility
Fought for life
Just to die
To birth freedom for the black skinned
The Lion in the forefront
That lives in the dew
To wake the sleeping skin

Souls were marked for sorrow
For peace is bereaved

We heard the sound of drums in our hearts
Telling of stories yet to be told
But it's a pad of lost dreams

If the dead can can speak
Then tell us
You are with us
If the dead can sing
Sing with us
As we sing the eulogies
As lullabies

We have come with mystery drums
And riddled languages
To say you're a legend

_We are the marching boot of soldiers_
_Walking you to rest
